A Great Resource for American Politics Junkies

I am getting back into writing more regularly.

But to start, I want to direct you all to a great resource for American Political News.

Taegan Goddard's Political Wire is the first website I visit every morning. It's a great aggregator of political news down south. It posts the most recent public opinion polls, news coming from the 2008 presidential campaign and all other news related to politics.

It is updated constantly throughout the day. As such, it has me addicted. It is very similar to Daily Canuck without the intentional partisan flavour.

I highly recommend it to all Liberal bloggers.

Al Gore for President...

Today Al Gore's movie, An Inconvient Truth, recieved two Oscar nominations.

If he wins - in his acceptance speech he should announce that he is running for President.

Maybe something like this:

"Working on this movie has been such a worthwhile excerise. But now it is time for me to take the issue of global warming to a new level. To do that, I cannot simply yell at the White House; I have to be in it."

It'd make for great TV.
